Matrix Productions were contracted to provide the complete production for the first 'big' Chagstock. In previous years, Chagstock started out as a small family affair in the organiser's back garden. We had been supplying the sound and lighting for the smaller events for the past few years, and when it was time to step it up a notch, we were naturally asked to take care of the production requirements. This meant we were resonsible for the stage, power, sound and lighting. Conditions couldn't have been worse weather wise, but the team we assembled coped admirably, and everything happened on time despite the challenges the weather presented. The audio system provided for the main stage was 20k Nexo Alpha-E FOH system, driven from a Midas XL2 at FOH. Effects were TC Electronic and Lexicon, and dynamics were Drawmer and dbx. The monitor system was quite impressive, boasting Nexo Ps15 wedges,Ps15/Ls1200 drum fill, Dynacord Cobra 2 side fills, all driven from a 40 channel Midas Verona mixing desk. The lighting system consisted of 54 generic fixtures and 8 moving yoke fixtures. More specifically 4 Robe Spot 250's and 4 Robe Wash 250's. The stage supplied was a 10m x 6m mobile stage, and as you can see it looked fantastic. Matrix productions are pleased to announce we will be again providing for Chagstock 2008, and have also been asked to take care of the production in the Acoustic Marquee too.
