The 1st June 2009 held the second Childline Rocks benefit gig for the NSPCC’s Childline. ChildLine Rocks is an annual charity rock concert organised under the auspices of ChildLine 20, an independent committee set up to raise £2,000,000 for ChildLine to celebrate 20 years of ChildLine’s existence. A diverse range of acts gave their time for free at the 02’s smaller rock venue, IndigO2. 80’s Rock band Thunder were the house band for the day, under the guidance of their guitarist Luke Morley and they performed with and alongside artists such as The Pretty Things, Jon Lord (Deep Purple), Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), Steve Harley, Uriah Heep, Sons of Albion, Hot Leg (Justin Hawkins from the Darkness new band) and Steve Balsamo.

Matrix Productions provided support to assist with the stage management for the main event, as well as provide a small Nexo Ps15 system for a VIP auction in the after show party.
